The origins of "L'Alqueria" go back to a small town on the Valencian coast, where the Mediterranean winds scatter the smell of the orange blossom and the orchard provides the best ingredients in Levante cuisine.

At La Alqueria de la Comtessa the Marola grew up, seduced from small by the alchemy of the kitchen countertops, where the seasons marked the taste of the rice that was cooked and each meal was a party.

The passion for the kitchen brought the Marola to Girona land and the chance wanted to meet Joan, a restaurant professional, whom he embarked on in this project. Since 2007, the smoke of Alqueria casseroles scattered all the aroma of Valencian time and cooked rice as has always been done on the plain of Gandia.
