Aquileia-Grado

Aquileia is located very close to Grado considered as an open-air museum, Aquileia and one of the first cities conquered by the Roman empire, in fact it was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the archaeological sites preserved in good condition and Early Christian Basilica, the island of the sun has a connection with the history of Aquilania it is an island although it is connected to the mainland with two bridges and is also a very fascinating place especially its historic center.

From piazza Liberta 'to Villa Manin

Gorizia

Gorizia is located on the borders of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Piazza Transalpina, until 2004 it was divided by a wall. Today its streets, its architecture and its parks bear witness to the great history of this city. Giant Cave

The Grotta Gigante is located in Borgo Grotta Gigante in the municipality of Sgonico. It is considered the largest tourist cavity in the world.
The cave is estimated to have formed around 10 million years ago and was inhabited in prehistoric times. Its existence, however, was discovered recently,
There are three entrances to the cave: the first one, the one normally used, was arranged for tourist use, the second, located in the middle position, is narrower and was used by the first explorations, the third, located towards the East, and formed by an inclined tunnel inhabited in the Neolithic era.

Miramare Castle Park

Miramare Castle Park is located in Trieste, the structure is on a rocky outcrop towards the Gulf of Trieste. Frico with potatoes

Frico with potatoes is a typical Friulian food: it is a pie made from local cheese. First, potatoes are cooked with onion, then when they are very soft, the cheese is added. The frico is ready when it has formed a beautiful golden crust. It is eaten a little everywhere in Friuli but above all in the provinces of Pordenone and Udine eaten accompanied a nice glass of red wine.

Cjarsons

The  Jota is a soup made of sauerkraut, beans and potatoes that tastes like Mitteleuropa. The particularity of this soup is certainly the sour sauerkraut that recalls the tastes of Austrian and Slovenian cuisine. La Jota is one of those frugal but also very energetic dishes that can be tasted in some typical restaurants.

Gubana

There are many types of traditional sweets, each city, each area has its own, but the gubana is the one recognized at the regional level. The "original" gubana is produced in the Natisone Valleys, in the province of Udine. The gubana is a sweet leavened dough that hides inside a filling of raisins, walnuts, pine nuts, sugar and grappa.
